Confidence crushes cravings
When faced with cravings, we can feel weak and overwhelmed. We fear failure and we obsess over ways to overcome binge eating. Sound familiar? There is one sure way to overcome this. A secret ingredient so powerful that your cravings will hide at the mere thought of it.
Confidence.
Self-confidence is the secret sauce to success. Business leaders have it, eminent people in every field have it. You can have it too. If you don’t feel it right now, you can quickly being to build confidence.
If you remember in my email titled, ‘Learn to love your food cravings’, I talked about how I have embraced by inner binge eater as it gives me the chance to overcome it and come out the other side. This helps build confidence.
Every time you say no to your cravings, you build confidence. Every time you say no to an extra portion of something you know you don’t need, you get a tiny bit more confident. Often this all happens without you realizing it which is why you may not feel confident in yourself.
There’s only one way to find out.
Go to the refrigerator right now. Stand in front if it with your hand on the door. Then say no and walk away.
Go to your favorite diner and sit down. Order soen coffee or tea or a water and nothing else. Read the paper or a book for an hour, leave a tip and leave.
Now do you feel better? Now do you feel a little more confident? You should as you have just overcome your cravings in a very important way!
Set yourself up to succeed by eating regularly and healthily. To begin with, have a healthy snack before you try those tests above as you will have a much higher chance of success if you do. And that’s what we want. We want you to succeed.
Now remember the win. Remember sitting in that diner smelling the bacon, the pancakes, the burgers and overcoming your urges. Remember how satisfied you felt when you left without eating any of it. Remember that feeling and take confidence in it.
